Our Community Partners Help Turn Hurt Into Hope.
Every year, thanks to our Community Partners' generosity, we receive thousands of dollars from in-kind and monetary donations. Donations that support foster children through our Children’s Needs Program, Courthouse Dog Program, Holiday Toy Shop, Back to School Drive, and other donation drives. Become a Community Partner and make a lasting impact in the lives of foster kids!
Here are just a few stories on how our Community Partners helped change the life of a foster kid:
- A 10-year-old sexual abuse victim with severe autism was spending his first Christmas in a group foster home without his sister or any family. He is a big fan of Spiderman and just wanted a gift to feel warm and safe. Through our Holiday Toy Shop Drive, we sent a gift of a new comforting Spiderman blanket and action figure.
- Jason loves skating and playing roller hockey. It gives him a physical and emotional outlet and a way to deal with his emotions. We were able to help Jason join a roller Hockey team by funding his league fees and skates through our Children's Needs Program.
- A high schooler living with an extended family member due to severe neglect by his parents really needed a laptop. We were able to give him a brand-new laptop through our Children's Needs Program. He was so happy to have his own laptop and excited to use it for schoolwork and games with his friends.
